A urologist is a specialist surgeon who treats problems of the kidneys, bladder, urethra and adrenal glands also deal with problems concerning the penis, testicles and prostate gland. The spectrum of these conditions includes bladder and kidney infections, blood in the urine, incontinence, kidney stones and bladder stones, cancer of the kidney, bladder and adrenal glands, problems with urination, including an overactive bladder, pelvic floor problems. A Medical Oncologist is a consultant physician specialising in the investigation, study, diagnosis, management and treatment of benign and malignant growths, tumours, cancers and diseases. Sub-specialties of oncology includes surgical oncology (removes the tumour or cancerous tissue during an operation), radiation oncology (radiation therapy), medical oncology (chemotherapy and ) hormone therapy, gynaecological oncologist (treats cancers of the female reproductive system and genitals), haematological oncologist (treats cancers of the blood and bone marrow), paediatric oncologist (treats cancers in children).
