From there he worked in the major hospitals of Brisbane and North Queensland completing his Surgical training.He was awarded a Fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2014 and is now operating at Tamara Private Hospital and Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital. David enjoys all aspects of General Surgery and has a special interest in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery of the abdomen for addressing conditions including bowel cancers, hernias and gallbladders.Through his work with the local BreastScreen clinic David is involved with the diagnosis and surgical treatment of breast cancers.
