About Dr David Kipp

David graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2002 and underwent advanced training in haematology at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Alfred. He undertook a two-year fellowship in bone marrow transplantation at The Alfred in 2011 and 2012 and started working at University Hospital Geelong as a consultant haematologist in 2013.
He looks after patients with a wide range of benign and malignant haematological conditions. His special interests include the management of acute myeloid leukaemia, allogeneic stem cell (bone marrow) transplantation and early-phase clinical trials.
He is a member of the Haematology Society of Australia & New Zealand, the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group, the Bone Marrow Transplant Society of Australia and New Zealand and the American Society of Hematology. He is also an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a clinical senior lecturer at Deakin University.
