About Dr Daniel Fletcher
MBBS ChB FRCS (Colorectal)
Mr Fletcher trained in general and colorectal surgery in the UK. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2007. He worked as a consultant general/colorectal surgeon at Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Royal Hospital until leaving the UK to move to Bendigo in July 2011.
He was granted Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in February 2014, and was appointed Director of Surgery for Echuca Regional Health in August 2014. Mr Fletcher is a trainer for the ‘Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient’ (CCrISP) and ‘Management of Surgical Emergencies’ (MOSES) RACS courses. In September 2016 he was awarded a Certificate of Outstanding Service to the Fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
