Mr Goyal completed his schooling from the country town of Churchill, in Gippsland. He was the first person from his country school to be awarded the prestigious Melbourne University Rural Medicine Scholarship, and graduated with Honours from Melbourne University in 2003.
Mr Goyal completed his orthopaedic training in 2013 and then completed a further fellowship at University Hospital - Geelong in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in 2014.
Mr Goyal currently has a senior lecturer position at Deakin University and has a passion for teaching medical students and trainee surgeons. He is accredited with St John of God Geelong Hospital and University Hospital – Geelong.

• 17.03.2022Travelled to Epwoth Waurn Ponds today for an appt with Mr Goyal. Evidently Mr Goyal does not attend Epworth Waurn Ponds anymore and his address there is incorrect. We were told by staff that he now conducts appointments at St John of God Hospital in Geelong.
