Profile: Dr Bridget Jeffery graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1990 with a MBChBand a FCOG, MMed (O&G) from the University of Pretoria. In 2000 Bridget completeda fellowship in Fetal Medicine at the Bristol University in the United Kingdom and spentseveral years as the University of Pretoria Associate Professor in the Obstetrics andGynaecology (O&G) department; was the clinical lead for the Fetal Medical Unit andoperated a part time private practice in fetal medicine.Bridget migrated to Australia in 2007 and completed a DDU and spent five years atKing Edward Memorial Hospital working in high risk obstetrics and ultrasound. In 2012Bridget moved to JHC to set up the O&G Ultrasound Unit for which she is currently theclinical lead; and additionally is involved in high risk obstetrics and clinical governance.
