About Dr Benjamin Ng

Dr Ng completed his medical undergraduate studies at University of New South Wales. He has been a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians since 2008 after completing respiratory and sleep training at St George Hospital and Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand. In 2009, Dr Ng was a lung transplant fellow at Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane. Following this, he had the privilege of training for one and a half years at the world famous cardiothoracic institute Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, United Kingdom, where he developed special expertise in the areas of lung cancer, interventional bronchoscopy, lung fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension. After returning to Australia in 2011, Dr Ng was appointed as a Staff Specialist at Nepean Public Hospital. Dr Ng is active in clinical research and is the primary investigator of several multi-centre international trials in pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis and interventional pulmonology.
