Profile: Dr Azhar Munas is originally from Sydney and moved to Cairns in January 2016 having done his final years of haematology advanced training at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.Azhar is an excellent communicator and is a member of many international haematology bodies including the American Society of Haematology, the European Haematology Association, the International Society of Blood Transfusion and the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand.
