He completed specialty training in Respiratory Medicine at The Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital and the Mater Hospital Brisbane. This was followed by a Sleep Medicine fellowship at The Prince Charles Hospital.After being admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2016, he subsequently completed a fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology at Toronto General Hospital in Canada.Upon returning to Australia, Dr Pattison has taken up a Staff Specialist position at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and has also commenced private practice at Pulse Oceanside Medical in Birtinya.Dr Pattison has a special interest in thoracic malignancy, with a focus on advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchsocopic and pleural procedures.
