About Dr Alice Livings
Dr Alice Livings is a Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist who has commenced Private Practice in Clinical Haematology on the Sunshine Coast in 2021. Alice grew up in Brisbane and completed a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Chemistry at the University of Queensland, before making the move to Sydney. There she completed her medical degree with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney. After medical school she worked in a number of hospitals around the greater Sydney area before undertaking her advanced training in Haematology at Royal North Shore and Liverpool Hospitals, obtaining Fellowship of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists Australasia. Alice is interested in a wide range of topics in Haematology, including: • Malignant conditions such as lymphoma and multiple myeloma. • Non-malignant conditions such as clotting and bleeding disorders and platelet disorders. • Haematological conditions affecting pregnancy and the postpartum period.
