He completed his internship and residency at Nepean Hospital and subsequently worked as a medical registrar at Liverpool and Hawkesbury Hospitals for 4 years, prior to commencing GP training. Dr Massoud became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. Throughout his time in the hospital system, he was heavily involved in medical student and junior doctor teaching, being awarded an Honorary mention as "Teacher of the Year" in 2018 by the Australian Medical Association. He has also completed a Diploma of Child Health in 2018.
