He has been the recipient of a number scholarships and awards for his research, including the RACS WG Norman Trauma Fellowship, the RACS Sir John Loewenthal Fellowship and an NHMRC post-graduate scholarship.

Mr Cameron and Mr Snell worked together in Adelaide and look forward to further building the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery service at St John of God Bendigo Hospital and associated peripheral hospitals. This will enable more patients from the local area to be treated by a Specialist Plastic surgeon without having to travel to Melbourne.
