Alan graduated from Guy’s Hospital, London in 1991 and trained in Cardiology in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Alan was Head of Department of Cardiology at Fremantle Hospital when it closed in 2014 and has been the Clinical Lead for Coronary Intervention at FSH since it opened.

Alan has extensive experience in all aspects of coronary intervention and has been an investigator in many pivotal trails in coronary artery angioplasty. Recent experience includes intervention for structural heart disease involving innovative procedures for valvular heart disease.
