Adrian is one of the best doctors I have had. He is extremely knowledgeable providing excellent care to his patients.

Dr Adrian Foo may well be experienced and most knowledgeable in this area of the medical arena, not doubting that at all but his people skills, understanding and respect are to desired. I was totally appalled at my last visit for my elderly father. He disrespected me, refused to give me important information that I was needing and was down right rude. This is a very hard time for family to watch their loved ones decline in their mental health, therefore you need a caring and sincere Dr.
If you are looking for both accurate diagnosis, compassion and respect, maybe this Dr isn’t for you. Just a heads up!

Dr Adrian Foo was sent to vist me as a private hospital inpatient at St John of God Hospital Murdoch on a Sunday in place of my hospital geriatrician who was off that day. There was no request from me for a vist ( nor from staff either to my knowledge). His English was extremely hard to understand and I did not know at first who he was as visit not expected.
His first question was ” what is your plan?”
I did not know what he mean so opened the dialogue with “I think am being discharged tomorrow” his response I don’t know. When I then explained I now had no pain in shoulder ( that my own specialist was unaware of) and had an appt for 2 weeks hence for OT appt that I may need to cancel he got visibly agitated add demanded to know if my specialist knew that!
As I explained I have not seen him since my endoscopy unit pre injection as he was gone from the procedure room by the time I was awake as I was last on his list of 20 that day and being Sun today he has not been to see me. I explained I needed to discuss with my specialist Dr Rodger Tan ( with whom I have no issue and great respect for). He (Dr Foo) became quite rude and stated “that is not fair on him and you should tell him, When will you tell him ( it is still Sun) he maybe cannot put other patient in your slot! Not fair on Dr Tan! I felt disrespected and bullied at that point and intimidated by his unnecessary attitude as my appt was 2 weeks away and I had not even been discharged as an inpatient yet! ( this was Sun 2/4/23) OP appt had been scheduled for 14/4/23! He mumbled something unintelligible and all I heard again was not fair he then turned and stormed out of my room and so far as I can ascertain did not say goodbye or give me any other information.He did nothing for me at that visit and left me with anxiety and feeling disrespected! I would definitely not recommend Dr Adrian Foo as a geriatrician with that attitude towards older and vulnerable patients! I would like to add that I have no issue with my allotted geriatrician Dr Elizabeth Wong nor Pain Specialist Dr Rodger Tan who were not involved in this conversation at all! I reported this incident to Nurse CoOrdinator on duty on that shift.

Took my Mother to see Dr Foo and 18 months of investigations and not knowing anything has now been answered.
Dr Foo established was holistic in his approach and finally we have found someone that is looking after my Mums overall health. An excellent doctor has been found!
