About Dr Ada Ng

Profile: Dr Ada Ng studied at the University of New South Wales from 2000 - 2005. She undertook internship and residency at Royal North Shore Hospital. She was then appointed as an Advanced Trainee in General Surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney. Dr Ng obtained her FRACS in 2013. She subsequently undertook two years of subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery with the CSSANZ program. She was appointed as Clinical Fellow at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney in 2014, and at St Vincents Hospital, Melbourne in 2015. Dr Ng completed Masters of Surgery by Thesis with the University of Sydney in 2017 on translational research into cancer.Dr Ng specialises in colonoscopy, laparoscopic bowel resection, perianal disease, inflammatory bowel disease and pelvic floor disorders. Dr Ng also performs general surgical procedures including hernia surgery. She also has an interest in pelvic floor conditions, including incontinence, the role of sacral nerve stimulation and surgical management of rectal prolapse.Dr Ng is trained in both laparoscopic and open surgery and specialises in both cancer and non-cancer services.
